We’ve successfully upgraded the Songbird Token Observation Node server with additional hard drive storage to better support its growing operational demands. As blockchain data continues to expand, sufficient storage capacity is critical to maintaining consistent indexing, validation, and monitoring performance. This upgrade provides increased headroom for data growth, reduces the risk of storage-related bottlenecks, and enhances overall system stability. With the expanded capacity, the observation node is now better equipped to reliably handle current workloads and future network growth, ensuring smoother performance and improved resilience moving forward.

Flare has announced that NIGHT (Midnight) has qualified for auto‑inclusion in the FTSO system. As part of this update, the new NIGHT/USD price pair is being added to the networks.
According to Flare’s communication, the projected go‑live dates are:
Anchor / Scaling: Monday, 19 January 2026 (Please verify this date)
Block Latency / Fast Updates (rewards begin): Monday, 26 January 2026 (Please verify this date)
Networks: This applies to both Songbird and Flare
In response to this mandate, we have updated our value provider to include NIGHT/USD and verified that it is operating as expected. This ensures our data remains aligned with the latest Flare FTSO specifications and that our delegators and partners continue to receive accurate, up‑to‑date pricing information for the newly supported asset.
